Her Story
A Longtime St. Johns County Resident
Sandra Fein has called St. Johns County home for years. With her husband, two grown sons, eight grandchildren, and a rambunctious goldendoodle, she has watched this community grow. She has seen firsthand how the quality of local services — including mosquito control — directly affects the daily lives of families, outdoor recreation, and the health of our natural environment.
Sandra is a registered nurse, healthcare professional, educator, and former healthcare executive with years of experience in public health and community service. She brings a deep understanding of disease prevention, health systems, and the importance of science-based decision-making — expertise that translates directly to the work of the AMCD Board.
For the past two years, Sandra has served as a volunteer and ambassador for the Disease Vector Education Center — the educational arm of the Anastasia Mosquito Control District. That hands-on experience has given her an inside understanding of the district's mission, operations, and the community it serves.
Sandra is not a career politician. She is a neighbor who decided that the best way to give back to the community she loves is to step up and serve — bringing real qualifications and genuine care to Seat #2.

Why She's Running
Local Government Matters
The Anastasia Mosquito Control District provides services to the entire 609 square miles of St. Johns County. Its work touches every resident — from protecting families from mosquito-borne illness to stewarding our wetlands responsibly. The board's decisions have real consequences.
Sandra believes the board deserves a member who will show up prepared, ask the right questions, and always keep the community's best interests at the center of every vote. She is committed to bringing fresh energy, transparency, and genuine accountability to Seat #2.
